Shut Up and Drive, says the Maxximus G-Force

bruce mcmahan's maxximus g-forceLet me introduce you to my car.

Here are the bare facts: the Maxximus G-Force is a street legal car, with air conditioning, leather interior, navigation system and audio system, all sitting on top of a twin turbo, 7-liter V8, 1600hp. We started out by breaking three world records: 0-60 mph (2.134 seconds) (sorry, Rihanna, you have to rewrite those lyrics ); 0-100 mph (4.451 seconds); and the mother of all supercar metrics, the 0-100-0 mph mark of 8.861 seconds.

Maxximus G-Force set another three World Records last December, beating out all contenders for the 0-150mph, elapsed time 1/4 mile, and speed in 1/4 mile. That raises our total to six; we also broke one of our earlier records again.

A few tweaks and checks (wind tunnel tests this week) and we plan to go for the ultimate speed record. The test will be out at the Space Harbor in White Sands, NM, on May 27th. Watch this space for updates and details!

And once all the hard work is done, we have to let the world know. The big press conference will be in Beverly Hills on June 17th. Hope Dworaczyk, Playboy’s Playmate of the Year (you might remember her from Playboy’s april 2009 cover) will add some va-va to the car’s voom.

And now that we’ve gone this far, we have to do it again – beat our own records with a bigger and faster car. This car is All-American, so we are plan to win those new records after a conversion to natural gas.

While Marlon Kirby, , our designer extraordinaire, is getting the car ready for the next test, I’ll be filling in our backstory in this space. Check back every couple days for all the details.
