G-force is what a car creates when it travels in a circle and under heavy acceleration or deceleration. The G-Force car is so named because it has a body style that can handle the highest G-forces for a car in its class.

Marlon started by designing the car on paper, working out various problems in his mind. He put in all of the car's "plumbing" himself. As Marlon's father, Dave, puts it:
"He knew exactly what he wanted before they even put the engine together. He had the engine & transmission built out in California. He wasn't even doing it here. He knew the people that he wanted to design it, the people he wanted to build it, two years before it even happened he had it all in his mind."
About a dozen people with different specializations worked on the car over a period of two years, in places as far flung as the U.K., California, Indiana, Virginia, and Maryland. Marlon's relative obscurity and the fact that he runs a closed shop enabled him to keep his design a secret.
